oliver's five friends cider

a fully dry, yet accessible cider, fit for any table! it's is a blend of five renowned traditional cider apple varieties:

kingston black (a bittersharp - 60%),

michelin (a soft bittersweet - 16%),

yarlington mill & dabinett (both bittersweets - 9%),

& finally

foxwhelp (a sharp - 4%).

a bright, copper gold cider. on the nose: sweet & spicy notes. on the palate: prickly volatiles keep the fruit fresh, & the barrel & smoke emerge to give a full mouthfeel. slight sourness plus an expected astringency & bitterness that keep this very moreish. fermented with wild yeasts & matured both in tanks & barrels.
